Estate Inspections

Why not join us in a walkabout?

If you are a tenant, leaseholder or resident on a Housing Hartlepool estate and want to play a part in making your local neighbourhood a better place to live then we invite you to join our Housing Officers on their regular estate walkabouts.

What will happen on these walkabouts?

Staff and residents will tour the estates and identify any issues that affect the appearance of the area and staff will take appropriate action to put things right.

We hope that by working together, we can provide residents with a clean and well-maintained environment in which to live.

Why should you get involved?

As you live in the area you can help to identify problems and suggest ideas that will help improve your environment.

An annual budget is available to improve the environment and the security of your estate and you can suggest ways that this can be used.

It also give you the opportunity to get know your Housing Officer.

How will you get feedback from the Walkabouts?

Future editions of this newsletter will report back on how we have dealt with issues raised on the estates.

Anyone who attends will receive a copy of the issues raised and the actions taken.

The walkabouts up to March 2008 are published here on the website and in our regular newsletters.
