Housing Hartlepool spends in excess of £10 million a year on externally purchased goods, services and works ranging from printing, reprographics, transport, stationary and facilities contracts to more specialised service, for example training and development, new build, building refurbishment and repairs, demolition and management consultancy.
Procurement of these services, goods and works plays a vital part in supporting the company to achieve its strategic aims and objectives by ensuring that we obtain value for money from all our procurement activities. The procurement department's objective is to improve procurement processes in order to make savings and redirect those savings into front line services thereby making the best use we can of the resources we have available.
As part of our commitment to be open, transparent and fair in advertising, evaluating, awarding and entering into contracts for the provision of services, goods and works, Housing Hartlepool has chosen an e-Tendering Solution called In-Tend, which we consider will not only provide good value to us but also to you as one of our potential suppliers.
