How to get a repair done

There are several ways in which you can contact Housing Hartlepool to report a repair.

By telephone

Ring the Customer Contact Team FREE OF CHARGE* on 0800 052 5399. When the call is answered you will be asked to (Press 1 to report a new repair, enquire about an existing repair or change an appointment. Press 2 to arrange or enquire about gas servicing, Press 3 if you have recently had improvement works carried out).  This service is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year.  (*From mobile phones normal network charges apply)

On line

Do not report emergency repairs on line. Use the free phone service by telephoning 0800 052 5399.  If you want to report a repair that is not an emergency click on the link and follow the instructions.  To contact us about a fault you have already reported e mail - plannedrepairs@housinghartlepool.org.uk

In Person

Call at one of the housing offices. You will be put in touch with the Customer Team and given assistance in reporting the fault.

In Writing

You should write to: Housing Hartlepool Repairs Customer Contact Team, Wynyard House, Wynyard Road, Hartlepool. TS25 3LQ.

What you need  to tell us when you report a repair

We will need to know:

  • Your name & address
  • Your home telephone number
  • An alternative contact number if appropriate
  • A description of the problem - the more details you give at this stage will enable us to respond better at a time to suit you and help us to complete the repair in one visit.  If you have a faulty appliance we may need to know the type and make. If you are unsure about your repair use the diagnostic tool in the repairs section of the tenant handbook to help you identify the problem.
  • The times when you will be available for us to either complete the repair or carry out an inspection.
