Kick Start Grant (Resident Involvement Grant)
Kick Start Grant (Resident Involvement Grant)
Housing Hartlepool recognises and values the work of community volunteers and their organisations. They make an essential contribution to the well-being and sustainability of their neighbourhoods and, by supporting and promotion their efforts, together we will contribute to the regeneration of the town.
The company provides a range of mechanisms to facilitate the involvement of our tenants and other stakeholders in the development of our service. This includes the Tenant Consultation Panel (TCP) which is a Hartlepool-wide consultation forum that considers and provides a resident's perspective on the development and management of housing, estate environment and related issues.
As part of their role, the TCP assists in the administration of a grant fund to support the development of new residents groups and provide assistance to recognised residents groups.
Tenant and Residents groups can apply to the TCP for a 'Kick Start' (Resident Involvement Grant) of £250 on an annual basis to help meet their day-to-day running costs.
